MexicoMayan legendCozumel
In the heart of Cozumel, the ancient Mayan goddess Ix Chel stirs with unrest.
Self-guided shore excursions
A puzzle trail that starts at the pier gangway and ends there too. No coach, no group, no guide holding an umbrella. Just your phone, your own pace, and a port you'll actually remember.
You found the cache. Hidden finds and unlock codes are both real mechanics — groups sailing together use codes like this to open a private hunt.
Quests
Every quest is a self-contained trail of real places, puzzles and a find at the end. Browse by the story it tells, how hard it pushes and how long it takes.

One trail, three tiers
Difficulty doesn't add stops — it takes away help. Drag the dial and watch how much the app is willing to tell you about the same corner of the same port.
Eight ways to be stumped
Some stops want an answer. Some want a photograph. Some just want you standing in exactly the right spot. Here's one you can do from a deck chair.
It marks the depth of the water, and every ship in this harbour reads it before it comes in. Untangle the letters.
That was the easy tier. On hard you wouldn't have had the clue — just the word, and a harbour to look at. See the quests →
Location check-in
At a location stop the app will not put a pin on your screen and walk you to it. It gives you a clue, a photograph, a search area and a bearing — and then you have to actually be standing in the right place for it to count.
Four kinds of help, and you choose how much of it you want. Purists stay on the written clue. Everyone else opens the compass on the second lap of the same square.
Drawn in green. Somewhere in here is what you're looking for — the map narrows the world down, it doesn't hand you the answer.
Drawn in red, and much smaller. Stand inside it and the check succeeds. This is the bit you have to earn.
active
Sensors and GPS both good — you get heading, bearing to target, and live distance.
heading only
No position fix yet. The compass still shows which way you're facing, and says so plainly.
unavailable
No magnetometer. The clue, photo and map all still work — nothing is a dead end.
Cargo was counted here for two hundred years. The building still wears its trade above the door.
Every location stop starts here. On the hard tier this is all you get — no photograph, no distance readout, and two attempts.
Written clue · shown at every tier
Reference photo · hidden on the hard tier
Map tiles bundled with the hunt · no signal required
Compass active · orange marker is the way to go
Built for foreign ports
Clues, images, maps and puzzles download as one bundle before you leave the cabin. Nothing needs a signal ashore.
Start at 09:15 or 11:40. There's no coach to catch and nobody waiting on the slowest family in the group.
Progress saves on the phone. Break for lunch, close the app, come back to the exact stop you left.
The reward is real
Every stop you clear drops a tile. Fill the board and the last screen isn't a score — it's an address a few minutes from the gangway, and something waiting for you there.
It's the piece that makes the trail worth finishing, and the reason a pier-side merchant wants to be the one at the end of it.
Four minutes from the pier gate. Show the full board at the counter.
For operators, ports & cruise lines
The margin structure of a self-guided product, the experience of a curated one. Built to be listed and sold wherever your guests already book.
We'll build a three-stop route in one of your ports, at no cost.
Ten guests or four hundred, the same trail runs. No guide roster, no coach capacity, no weather cancellation.
Every route is built to finish inside the port call with a buffer, so nobody is the reason the gangway waits.
A fixed-price, fixed-duration, self-guided product — the shape marketplace listings and shore-excursion desks are built to sell.
You choose the stops and the merchant at the end of the trail. Footfall lands where you decided it should.
